The Strachan Foundation has currently reached its maximum capacity. We are no longer accepting new proposals until further notice. Thanks for your interest. 

STEP 1:
Please review our Guiding Philosophy and Values and our Selection Criteria to determine whether you meet the foundation’s criteria to receive a grant.

STEP 2:

Send a letter of inquiry to our Executive Director. Letters must be received at the latest 2 weeks before the proposal deadlines mentioned below in order to send a proposal by the closest deadline.

If we feel there is a match between your proposal and the Strachan Foundation’s criteria and mission, our Executive Director will invite you to submit a proposal for a grant.

STEP 3:

If requested by our executive director, submit a brief proposal for a grant using our guidelines. Please see Grant Guidelines for New Grantees*.

*Note: If you are a returning grantee you do not need to send a letter of inquiry. Please refer to Grant Guidelines for Returning Grantees

STEP 4: Our executive director will review and present your proposal to the board and will contact you with the Board’s decision in approximately three to four weeks.
